Lyme Love

Marine biologist & interdisciplinary environmentalist. Originally from Maine, now Nor Cal. Currently a Stanford PhD Candidate. Work hard -- Play hard (at least, when I'm asymptomatic): sail, surf, ski, trek, travel.

After managing symptoms for 10yrs, I fell into a Lyme abyss in summer 2009. Now, I'm slowly crawling out, working to heal to my core. I do not personally accept that late-stage Lyme must be a chronic sentence, forever managed. Some heal 100%. We can. Even if it's been years of suffering & misdiagnoses, we can. That's my intent -- full riddance of this bug & 100% healing physically, intellectually, emotionally, spiritually.

It's a Journey! For me personally, Lyme & Lyme recovery teaches patience, acceptance (of myself & my limitations), and new appreciation & compassion in life. I look forward to healing with you.
